Nicole La Russo

As U.S. Head of Field Research & Data Intelligence, Nicole manages a team of nearly 170 research professionals in 68 offices across the US. She oversees all aspects of research at the local market level including broker support, market intelligence and thought leadership, and also manages the national research team overseeing data management and multi-market research assignments. Nicole also serves as a member of the global research leadership team, developing strategy and overseeing execution of the company’s highest level data and research priorities. Nicole joined CBRE in 2016 as the Director of Tri-State Research, and then expanded her role several times to cover the Northeast and then the North Region before being promoted to Vice President for the U.S. in 2022.

Prior to joining CBRE, Nicole spent 10 years at the Alliance for Downtown New York, serving as the Senior Vice President for Planning and Economic Development and helping to drive the revitalization of the Downtown New York business district following the events of September 11, 2001. In her role, Nicole engaged with investors, business interests and government partners to develop programs and strategies to enliven the district and make it a full-service live-work-play neighborhood.

Nicole has a deep background in real estate advisory and analysis—prior to the Alliance, she worked with the CBRE’s Sedway Group in San Francisco, and Ernst & Young and Appleseed in New York, advising on many high-profile public-private development assignments.
