Michelle Abramowitz, Senior Vice President of Global Portfolio Services, leads CBRE Global Workplace Solutions Portfolio Services business. With over 20 years of experience in real estate, financial management, account, and audit assurance, she drives operational excellence, develops talent, and delivers data-driven and differentiated competitive advantages through strong governance and controls. CBRE’s Portfolio Services business is comprised of more than 1,000 employees around the world delivering Lease Administration services helping clients to gain competitive advantages through advanced analytics, quality controls, lease language audits and process optimization.
Michelle joined CBRE in 2014 as the Finance Director on a global technology account where she was responsible for leading the Finance, Procurement, IT & Workplace Strategy, Transaction Management and Lease Administration functions. Michelle led a transformation of the performance management, IT & compliance functions through the creation of the Performance Innovation Management Office (PIMO). The PIMO team introduced new technologies, improved many key processes, implemented business intelligence reporting & analytics which have resulted in improved cost controls, communications, synergies, and service excellence. In June 2017, she took on a new role as the Alliance Director of a fortune 100 technology account. She was responsible for all services delivered by the account including Critical Facilities, Project Management, Facilities Management, Lease Administration and Procurement.
Prior to joining CBRE, Michelle worked with Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP (‘PwC’) where she spent almost 10 years providing audit and assurance services to public and private companies, specializing in real estate. Michelle was the Team Lead for the Private Company Services (PCS) group at PwC and was responsible for managing the daily operations of the PCS group, implementing firm strategies, and managing financial targets. Before joining PwC, she began her career with Goldfarb, Shulman, Patel & Co. where she worked predominantly with real estate clients providing accounting, tax, and consulting services.
