Michael Combs uses his extensive knowledge of CBRE’s proprietary data platforms and research network to deliver keen analysis and strategy to clients of CBRE’s Strategic Investment Consulting team. His background in urban planning makes him adept at anchoring real estate analysis within economic and political frameworks.
Previously, Michael was Associate Director for Field Research at CBRE San Diego. There he led a team of researchers in California, Arizona and Hawaii to deliver market information and thought-provoking reports to clients and sales professionals. He came to CBRE in 2016 from the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation, where he led the research department. His team authored leading serial market reports and in-depth studies on the region’s economy. He also has worked as an analyst and project manager for economic development agencies in Baltimore and Ann Arbor, Michigan.
