Marcos Chan

Marcos is Executive Director and Head of Research, Hong Kong at CBRE.

Marcos oversees a team of research professionals, covering key property sectors across his region. He is based in Hong Kong and works closely with the Asia Pacific and Global Research teams to proactively drive CBRE’s ongoing objective, to produce first-class industry insight, research and analysis for CBRE clients.

Marcos has a profound understanding of the real estate market in the Greater China region, and with his strong research background in real estate agency, he is well-versed with occupier trends and landlord requirements. Mr Chan is also an active commentator in the media.

Marcos has over 16 years of property market research experience behind him, the last 13 of these with JLL where he has held senior positions as Head of Research, Hong Kong and Pearl River Delta, and most recently Head of Research, North China.

In his earlier days, Marcos worked for a Hong Kong developer where he was engaged in pre-acquisition financial analyses and feasibility studies for investment opportunities in the local and overseas real estate markets.
