Professional Experience
Jean-Francois Gillard is the Global Director of CBRE Accounting & Reporting Services. Based in Amsterdam, he oversees 4,000+ professionals servicing CBRE Real Estate Investors and Occupiers clients. His main focus is to build a highly efficient, technology advanced organization, drive collaboration between teams across multiple business lines and geographies to ultimately deliver efficiencies and high quality data to CBRE clients.
Jean-Francois joined the CBRE Group in 2011 as Chief Financial and Operation Officer of CBRE Global Investors for Asia Pacific. He was a member of the Asia Executive Committee and Asia Investment Committee. Prior to this, he was CFO and COO of ING Real Estate Investment Management in Asia Pacific, which later became CBRE Global Investors in 2007.
In 2014, Jean-Francois led the creation of CBRE Fund Accounting and Fund Administration, a new business line launched by the CBRE group to serve large Real Estate Investment Managers and deliver fully integrated real estate accounting and reporting services. The Fund Accounting and Fund Administration business line grew significantly since its launch in 2015 and is today one of CBRE’s strategic business lines.
Earlier in his career, Jean-Francois accumulated more than 15 years of experience in Commercial and Investment Banking. He was the Country Manager for ING Barings Hong Kong and China between 2003-2007. Prior to that, he was the Malaysia Country Manager for ING Barings and Board Member of ING Insurance Berhad. He started his career with Bank Brussels Lambert in 1990. He continued his career with ING following the acquisition of Bank Brussels Lambert in 1998.
