CBRE Named a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign; Achieves Highest Score in Corporate Equality Index for the Eighth-Consecutive Year

CBRE has been recognized as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign and earned a perfect score in the 2021 Corporate Equality Index for the eighth consecutive year.

The Corporate Equality Index (CEI) is a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality. In 2021, CEI rated more than 1,100 US-based companies in four categories: non-discrimination policies across business entities; equitable benefits for LGBTQ workers and their families; supporting an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.

“Receiving the top marks for the eighth straight year is a strong testament to our commitment to an inclusive culture – one where everyone is free to be themselves at work,” said Tim Dismond, CBRE’s chief diversity officer. “We know this environment helps our people to produce the best outcomes for our clients and for CBRE.”

Comprised of eight regional chapters, CBRE’s LGBTQ & Allies Employee Busines Resource Group plays an instrumental role in helping CBRE to meet the CEI’s high standards. CBRE Mexico received their second top mark in the most recent HRC Equidad MX Report, a survey assessing major Mexican businesses and multinational companies on LGBTQ inclusion.

In 2021, CBRE has been recognized in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index and named an Outstanding Diversity & Inclusion organization by the Dallas Business Journal.
