Bryan Frey

Bryan Frey is a Managing Director and leader of Property & Transaction Tax Services for Valuation & Advisory Services in the United States.

Bryan has more than 13 years of experience in the management and advisory of commercial property tax consulting and appeal coordination. Based in Atlanta, GA, he specializes in helping CBRE clients to reduce their property tax burden, including identifying opportunities for tax savings, ensuring assessments are accurate, filing appeals as appropriate and proactively preparing property tax estimates for budgeting and pre-acquisition due diligence.

Bryan leverages CBRE’s world-class research and valuation platforms in hand with market-leading property management and transaction professionals to provide clients with the most accurate data and actionable insights. Property types represented include multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, warehousing and distribution centers, self-storage and various special purpose properties.

He joined CBRE in 2021 and was most recently a Director in CBRE’s Atlanta office, where he led the practice in the states of Georgia, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Mississippi. Prior to that, he was the Senior Director of East Operations for Paradigm Tax Group, a national property tax consulting firm. In this role, he oversaw seven regional offices and assisted in building the Atlanta office into one of the firm’s top-producing teams. He began his career in land acquisitions/development with RaceTrac Petroleum and later transitioned into asset management services with TriMont Real Estate Advisors in Atlanta, Georgia.
