Professional Experience

Bill Hayden, President of Enterprise Global Services and Global Workplace Solutions Retail Sector, leads clients in streamlining and enhancing real estate portfolios through sustainability, technology enabled virtual maintenance, on demand facilities management, project management, and overall efficient delivery. As a business comprised of more than 1,800 employees, Enterprise Global Services delivers a greater future through driving sustainability in global portfolios and driving overall efficiency in facilities management operations through automation, extreme focus on customer service and a strong bias for action.

In 2022, Bill assumed the role of President of the newly formed Global Workplace Solutions Retail sector, with a focus on continued innovation and rapid growth. The Retail sector, comprised of more than 1,000 employees, provides a full facility and project management solution to clients including interior and exterior maintenance, capital projects, and sustainability initiatives to be a part of building a better tomorrow. This sector manages millions of facility maintenance work orders annually for clients. Client success is enabled through industry-leading proprietary technology, billions of historical asset data points, and tailored supply chain solutions to meet each client's needs. Bill continues to lead the Retail sector in addition to Enterprise Global Services.

Bill joined CBRE from facilitysource, which began as a startup  computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) technology and 24/7 helpdesk. Starting with a single client in 2006, facilitysource evolved over time to offer a full facility management solution to retailers to manage their store maintenance operations. Bill raised private equity funding in 2012 from Warburg Pincus, which funded investments in facilitysource’s technology and supply chain operations for the following six years. Acquired by CBRE in 2018 for $300M, the business has consistently achieved double-digit percentage growth.

Before joining facilitysource in 2006, Bill leveraged his computer science degree at several real estate services firms, as well as two workflow and digital asset management start-ups early in his career.

He lives in New York, New York, with his wife, Amanda, and daughter, Gabi.
